Jasonic's Favorite Character Films

All the movies I've reviewed on this blog up until now have been live action, but I did do several animated movies on my previous review blog, "Jasonic Reviews Favorite Movies". While this isn't necessarily a film titled after its main character like the others I have done on this blog, I do love this franchise now and believe it counts because the title is a term for the main character, Po -- the titular kung fu panda. That said, let's get into why I believe Kung Fu Panda is a great movie and franchise. Having reviewed the first Batman with Michael Keaton a few months back, I figured it was only fitting I review the second and last Batman film to star him, Batman Returns. Since it's a week until Christmas at the time of me posting this, I also thought it would be fitting to review a movie with a Christmas aesthetic. Whether it's considered a Christmas movie depends who you ask, but for what it is, I might just call it my favorite "not a Christmas movie" Christmas movie. Many who know me are aware that this character is literally my favorite character of all time so the mere fact that this movie came out three years ago is a dream come true! Most of my favorite movies I have reviewed in the past have been critically decent to good and stellar movies, but this one was originally seen as a stinker upon release. Now that I've had a chance to see it a couple times, I have to say that I completely disagree because for one, it's Scooby-Doo -- one of my favorite characters and franchises -- and two, there are weird spots in this movie, but the sum of its parts equates to a pretty decent flick in my opinion. I have been away for the longest time and decided it was time to start another blog of movie reviews, ones that specifically focus on my favorite characters of all time. These include Spider-Man, Batman, Scooby-Doo, and Sonic the Hedgehog among many others for those who know me.
